Dumplings! XLB is an unassuming place with a kinda non-traditional eclectic menu of dumplings. I don't think they resemble those one might find in the SGV, but works for Brea. Lunch today was Pork & Mushroom Wontons, which I think are dumplings. Anyway they were little balled up pockets of ground pork, green onions, and an interesting AND good mushroom and red chili oil sauce. Ten in a serving. I would totally order this again. I think I can eat 30 of them.

Finally got the chance to try XLB Dumpling Bar. Been wanting to come here since they open during Pandemic. What we got to go ~Pork XLB (8) was good. The soup inside the dumpling was very flavorful. Along w the pork filling. ~Shrimp & Pork (8) -pink color dumpling was good. Love the pink color. Good shrimp & pork filling. Very soft, juicy & yummy. Highly recommended. ~Al Pastor Dumplings (10) not really my cup of tea. Was so weird w the cojita cheese topping & the salsa verde on top. Definitely didn't go well w the soy sauce dipping. ~Bok Choy ~Dan Dan Noodles 11.17.23 Limit 2 sauces per dumpling. Located right off the Imperial Exit. Not too far from Brea Mall. In the same plaza as Lucille's BBQ & Right near Dsw Designer Shoe Warehouse. Next to Starbucks. It's a bit hidden and really small restaurant. Lots of parking available in the plaza.

Decently good dumplings and xlb but for some reason I love their Dan Dan noodles. It has good texture and good sauce. They do have different dumpling flavors. Service always fast and good.

Great little dumpling... bar! Food: - soup dumplings: consistently soupy, generous filling, and kid favorite! - shrimp and pork dumplings (pink wrapper): another old faithful. Juicy filling with a nice sized shrimp inside. - braised noodle or rice: well marinated and seasoned with some side toppings. This alone would make a tasty lunch/dinner! - bok choy/green beans: non spicy tossed with a delicious sesame sauce Ambiance: Bright, nicely decorated, with large glass to see inside their (clean) kitchen Service: Friendly and helpful Bottom line: This place has made it to our list of regular establishments! Kids ask for this place themselves and eat a ton. Win-win!

Really chill kind of place, very clean inside and the food is good. Tried the chicken XLB for the first time, thought it was decent. The mala sauce is where it's at thou, it's got just the right amount of spicy for me

Must try SOUP dumplings and DIM SUM in Brea!! Bookmark and share!! Their soup dumplings are delicious!! Love their new chicken XLB dumplings!! Other favorites were the pork dumplings, shrimp dumplings (Har Gao), Al Pastor dumplings, Cheeseburger Bao and Cha Siu Bao You can get your hands on them at @xlbdumplingbar, a local, family-owned restaurant. They have locations in Brea and Walnut. These 3 brothers, Johnny, Ricky, Kenny are using Family recipes...recipes from what they remember growing up. Stop by the Brea location and say hello to Johnny! Great customer service!! Drinks are now available such as their Taro Ube Milk and Mango Galaxy (Mango Lemonade topped with Butterfly Pea Tea). Both are sooo good!!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! first, let's start by saying Johnny and his crew are absolute awesome folks! The dishes that they prepare here are so well thought out. Believe it or not but the dumplings with their Mala sauce I would put against any dumpling in all of SoCal! Their Mala sauce is definitely in my all time too 5 sauces! This is one of those businesses I hope to see grow in Orange County! Now down to the dishes that we had. 1. Pork Soup Dumplings (XLB) 2. Pork Siu Mai 3. Shrimp Dumplings (Har Gao) 4. Phoenix Claws (Chicken Feet) 5. Cheeseburger Bao 6. Pulled Pork Bao Everything we ate was really good! I can tell by the actions of this business that they are one with the Brea community! There was one particular situation that I witnessed that was a very heartfelt gesture by Johnny that gave me all the feel goods inside! These are the types of businesses that I like to see go far! The fact that they serve really good food, and they care about people is quite amazing! I strongly urge you to take a trip to this place, and try out the entire menu! I promise you will not be disappointed!
